At PATH, your privacy is not an afterthought — it's foundational. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. We've written it in plain language because you deserve to actually understand it.
🌿 The short version: We collect only what we need to run PATH. We never sell your data. We never share it without your permission. Coach notes and client health information are private and encrypted. You can delete your data at any time.
PATH is a health coaching platform built for NBHWC-certified coaches and their clients. PATH is operated by Elise Recupero and is currently in beta. Our contact email is connect@joinpath.health.
PATH is not a medical provider, insurance company, or covered entity under HIPAA. Health coaches using PATH are independent professionals. If you are working with a health coach through a medical practice or employer health program, different privacy rules may apply — please check with your coach.

We will never sell your data to third parties. We will never use your health information for advertising. We will never share your information without your explicit permission — except when required by law.
Session notes, health intake forms, and client records are private by default. Coaches can only see their own clients' information. Clients can only see what their coach chooses to share with them.
PATH coaches agree to keep client information confidential as part of their professional and ethical obligations as NBHWC coaches. Any information shared in coaching sessions is subject to the confidentiality terms in the coaching agreement between coach and client.
Exceptions to confidentiality (consistent with NBHWC ethics) include situations where there is risk of harm to the client or others, or where disclosure is required by law.
PATH is currently in beta. While we follow security best practices, we are a small team and encourage coaches not to store highly sensitive medical information on the platform at this stage.

PATH uses minimal cookies necessary to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party trackers, or analytics that identify you personally. We may use anonymous, aggregated analytics to understand how PATH is being used.

PATH is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us at connect@joinpath.health and we will delete the account immediately.
As PATH grows, this privacy policy may be updated. We will notify coaches via email of any significant changes. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
